Privacy notice
This notice explains how your club processes your personal data in Vereinli, its application for billing membership dues, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).
What data is processed
Member master data (name, postal address, email address, phone number, date of birth, membership status), the membership bills issued to you (amounts, payment references, payment status), and details of bank transactions from the account statements your club uploads to reconcile payments (value date, amount, currency, booking text).
Purpose
The data is processed solely to bill membership dues, deliver bills by email, and reconcile incoming payments against them. It is not used for advertising and is not sold or otherwise disclosed for third-party purposes.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your membership relationship with your club and is carried out in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).
Recipients and processors
The application is hosted with Hetzner (hosting in the EU); bill and sign-in emails are delivered through Resend (email delivery service). Both act as processors on the club's instructions. Data is not disclosed to other third parties unless required by law.
Retention
Financial records (bills and payment data) are kept for the statutory retention periods that apply to the club's accounting. Personal details are kept for the duration of your membership and are anonymized on request after it ends; the financial records then remain under an anonymous label.
Your rights
You may request access to the data stored about you, have inaccurate data corrected, and request the erasure of your personal details (anonymization where financial records must be retained). Please address such requests to your club's administrators.
